grab phones and keys, and leave

Drive, work or something to that degree

watch the stocks then the clock

Leave as soon as possible

Teeter between torcher and thanksgiving

I have been awful to everyone this year

I should send you all Christmas cards

or sympathy cards

or leave it alone

or be happy for life

the sweetest avenging

combine all resolutions into one

leaving nothing to save for next year

Remember when the world said they would put their lives on hold but everyone kept moving

I’ve taken some personality tests trying to

get a different one

different letters

different numbers

a different disposition though

a new me encumbers

born again

born of a virgin

born a version

bore a vision

blurred vision

there was spit and mud on my sight

slept through the night

to do it all again
